With the start of Autumn this week, now’s the time for our latest newsletter to keep you upto date on our services and offers 😊
Internet Scams
Quite a few of you have contacted us for a pop up “Virus Infection” notices that pop up at the bottom right of your screen, Usually the infection notice is a fake alert designed to scare you into calling a bogus support number or downloading harmful software. Do not click on these boxes and if you’re not sure whether it’s a scam, give us a call and we can visit and remove the annoying popups and give your computer a full health scan for peace of mind.
Annual tune-up and healthcheck
It’s more than halfway through the year now, so if you have n’t had your annual health check and tune up now’s the time to book one in!
We do hundreds of these every year and are very popular. If your computer is just a year old or 5 plus years old, an annual tune-up and healthcheck ensures it performs at its best, upto date and security checked. An annual health check and tune-up is just £60, plus your chance to ask any questions. We can also supply and install the McAfee Internet Security - 1 year, 1 device protection for £25 or for multiple devices £30 to cover all your devices keeping you safe and secure.
Some of the items we find on our Health checks include undetected Malware, Virus’s, missing Windows updates, email issues and disk or Windows errors. Nipping these problems in the bud before they become a bigger problem is always the best option and keeps your computer running sweetly and you secure.
New Laptops and Computers (all -in-one’s)
A lot of you upgraded to a new computer last year, however Windows 11 was available as an upgrade for computers from 2018, meaning some computer and laptops are now 8 years old with Windows 11 on and you would almost certainly benefit form a new computer, which are substantially faster than a 2018 one and for laptops lighter and smaller.
We currently have some competitively priced Windows 11 laptops at around £400, so if you’re thinking of upgrading give us a call. Remember we can do the setup and transfer data and programs from your old system to the new one for you too. We also have All in One computer system’s for just £500.
